Getting a new cycling program launched at a Middle School is inherently challenging in itself, now add cycling off campus and whew, it can be daunting. That is why The Specialized Foundation created Riding for Focus, a turn key Physical Education cycling program with lesson plans, teacher training, and a state-of-the-art learning management system and the equipment to get rolling: bikes, helmets, and startup maintenance equipment. Help your school stand out and get more kids pedaling forward!
Chaboya Middle School, San Jose, CA has been a Riding for Focus school since 2016. Since the start of the program, CMS has also started a bike club where the kids go on rides after school and during the summer. This encourages cycling plus participation in local rides and cycling events. Help support CMS to add a bikes skills park that includes skinnies, pump track, and on campus.
Double Peak Middle School has the best mountain biking trails in San Marco’s CA right out the back door; however, space in So Cal is in high demand. Help them fundraise to bring a top of the line storage solution to campus for our Riding for Focus Fleet.
